what is rebirthing?
with rhythmic, conscious breathing we can use the breath to increase our aliveness and joy, peace and power. we can use it to reduce pain and tension, anxiety and stress. we can use it to express and reflect our highest spiritual aspirations and values. for the most part, breathing is automatic and unconscious. your conscious breathing habits, patterns and tendencies are not necessarily natural or optimal.
rebirthing breathwork, or conscious connected breathing, is a powerful, safe, and gentle way to bring them to surface awareness for health and clearing. developed in the early 70's it has been practiced by many thousands of people throughout the world. rebirthing breathwork is a process that supports individuals in upgrading the quality of their thinking.
this stress-relieving breathing includes the ability to experience greater inner peace as well as feeling connected to, and caring for all of humanity. it is a profound tool that resonates at such a deep level that blame becomes obsolete, forgiveness becomes natural, and taking responsibility for one's life becomes the option.
conscious connected breathing, also known as rebirthing breathwork, is a breathing technique that enables you to gain access to unconscious thoughts about yourself and life that make you tense and afraid, and can cause illness. you can then challenge old ideas and habits which are no longer relevant and so feel in control and have choices in your life. the technique is circular breathing: once you have breathed in you breathe out without pausing, once you have breathed out you breathe in without pausing. it is breathing in a circular pattern with no pauses or holding.
often apparently unrelated physical symptoms disappear during the process and breathing becomes freer and more relaxed. when we are tense and worry our breathing becomes shallow; most of us breathe only half the time we are awake. since 70% of the body’s toxins are expelled through breathing we feel much better when we improve our air flow.
the name Rebirthing breathwork is used for two reasons; because we see things afresh and feel renewed after a session and because it is common to remember birth during the process as a time of change and stress. by breathing in a new way you can learn to:
live in the present, concentrating on what you are doing instead of what you could or should be doing;
allow your body to heal by removing the cumulative effect of a lifetime’s tension and irregular breathing;
recognize how experiences are created by expectation based on previous experience;
create a more satisfying experience of life by using the breath in combination with affirmations;
become aware of current breathing patterns when reacting habitually to over-stress providing an opportunity to correct them.
it takes about ten sessions to learn to practice rebirthing breathwork yourself alone, each session lasts about 90 minutes.

rebirthing breathwork classes with jason are one of the most intense, intriguing, fascinating experiences i’ve ever lived. i just have no words to describe how enthused i am now. i feel powerful honestly, powerful in a sense that i can tune in easily to my “home frequency” where usually there’s noise, but now i can easily hear the “static” and i often associate that “static” to having alpha frequency brainwaves just like during, and right after, meditation. thank you jason for facilitating this.
"my work with jason is by far the most loving, healing and life changing experience following years in expensive, lengthy, life coaching therapies. he is an amazing therapeutic professional. I feel so much self-love flowing from the universe. sessions with Jason showed me that i wasn’t alone in facing hardships and i gradually opened up to a bigger purpose and sense of aliveness.
